Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and develop design solutions, along with creating user profiles, wireframes and site maps
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve user experience on desktop sites, and responsive experiences for mobile and tablet. Sketch your ideas and use prototypes (low- and high-fidelity) to demonstrate interaction and test with users.
  • Evaluate existing user interfaces and seek a better ways to do things.
  • Analyse data from CX tools, funnels and user tests and feedback to detect design problems and/or possibilities for improvement.
  • Be articulate and persuasive about UX best practices. Get involved strategically and contribute new product ideas.

Key Relationships:

  • All teams within EasyJet project (IT, Finance, Marketing, Product, Customer Services & Operations)
  • Suppliers and business clients
  • Third party providers and partners

Candidate profile:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in interactive design or UX roles – preferably multi-lingual
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Photoshop and Illustrator, or other content authoring and prototyping tools.
  • Collaborative person with a creative problem-solving mind.
  • Focus on simplicity: Find new ways to make complicated tasks easy.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, prototype, and evaluate user interfaces.
  • Experience running user studies.
  • Familiar with web coding languages as HTML and CSS.
  • Experience using a lean, lightweight and experiment-driven approach.
  • Digital portfolio showing strong examples of real-world projects you’ve worked on. This can include websites, applications or other interactive products.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or similar analytics tool.
  • Experience with Tealeaf or similar CX tool is a plus.
  • Experience within the e-commerce industry would be a distinct advantage, but not essential.
  • Fully fluent in English is a must, both written and verbal. Additional language skills (Spanish) would be beneficial.
  • Some occasional travel required, including overnight stays (mainly UK / Europe).
