We are looking for a person passionate about innovation with a background in social sciences. Bachelor's degree in any of these fields: anthropology, sociology, psychology, etc. Minimum professional experience is mandatory (3-5 years). We are thinking on a real team player, customer-centered and able to work within inter-disciplinary teams of business strategists, designers, researchers, marketing specialists, amongst other professionals.

The candidate must have fluency in Spanish and English, and proficient in knowledge of other languages will be valued (German, Italian, French, etc). Minimum one foreign language.

Flexible to travel (internationally) at short notice for periods of up to 2 weeks.

Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate should:

  • Work with the Project manager to supervise fieldwork and assure ethnographic data is coordinated with other researchers, data collection protocols and research system
  • Assist in the development of research protocols for ethnographic and data collection projects.
  • Facilitate the recruitment, follow-up, and retention of research subjects.
  • Conduct brief screening interviews with potential participants both on the phone and in-person.
  • Assist other project researchers in subject recruitment and conducting ethnographic research.
  • Prepare and organize qualitative and quantitative data for analysis.
  • Assist in writing progress reports, articles and white papers.
  • Be an active member of the research area including preparing training sessions on relevant study procedures and protocols.
  • Execute and explore unique methods to uncover mind-opening consumer insights
  • Contribute to A Piece of Pie’s positive internal atmosphere, quality of work and innovation practices.

The candidate should:

  • Have excellent observatory and analytical skills to identify the insights accurately.
  • Havethe skills of a good leader and should be able to motivate people in theproject.
  • Have the ability to complete multiple tasks within deadlines in an accurate manner.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and assist continuously revise and improve the deliverables for meeting the quality objectives.
  • Have skills to develop presentations and documents to demonstrate capacities of the company for business development.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and deadlines in an environment of shifting priorities and resource constraints.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize market, products and consumers information from a variety of international sources and to weave and present in useful form.
  • Have great attitude with ability to work in a face-paced, dynamic environment while juggling multiply projects.
