Main Responsibilities:

  • Represent the digital team and input into key EasyJet holidays development projects ensuring customer focused development, record levels of conversion and on time/budget delivery of strategic projects.
  • Use customer insight to scope and shape user experience enhancements and enable new functionality, often working with UX consultants and agencies
  • Use a mixture of analytics, usability/MV testing results, customer feedback, and best practice knowledge to recommend and shape EasyJet holidays improvements
  • Work with Business Analysts and development teams to oversee the timely scoping, development and delivery of EasyJet holidays improvements in line with the strategic & operational needs of the business.
  • Represent Digital team at Project Sizing, Estimation and Sprint Planning meetings.
  • Support, input into and deliver customer journey improvements that drive cross sell of EasyJet holidays and Ancillary products and reduce contact centre calls Work with the Ancillary team to ensure developments to ancillary pages are in line with EasyJet holidays guidelines and provide guidance to actively drive website improvements.
  • Take the lead in driving quality/perfectionism throughout EasyJet holidays ensuring accuracy and consistency at all times.
  • Support and assist internal teams (e.g. Country Marketing teams, Ops, Customer Service, Ancillary) and act as Digital team ambassador to guide and support in relation to Customer Journey/UI improvements
  • Actively work with the EasyJet legal team to ensure the legal & regulatory compliance of EasyJet holidays.
  • Where required support adhoc issues, disruption and crisis issues both during and out of normal office hours (on a rota basis.)
  • Where required act as the project lead on defined digital initiatives to facilitate consumer perception of EasyJet holidays as a digitally leading brand and to drive commercial performance

Candidate profile:

  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years delivery experience working with development teams shaping User Experience. They will thrive under pressure, working in a fast paced, close knit team environment, prioritising rigorously, making quick decisions and having multiple projects & demands on their time.
  • Experience of leading and delivering UX/eCommerce improvements working with 3rd party UX agencies, Business Analysts & Development teams and liaising with multiple Business Stakeholders throughout.
  • Desirable, but not essential is knowledge of working across Europe, experience with Google Analytics, translation agencies, basic UX/prototyping tools.
  • Critically the successful candidate will be a real team player, flexible and passionate about digital technology, ambitious in their career & driven to make a difference in whatever they do
