We are looking for a Senior User Experience Designer.

Your rol in ABA will be:

  • Be responsible for defining the customer journey of key features.
  • Be accountable for ensuring that the UX of ABA English demonstrates increasing conversion, engagement and loyalty.
  • Deliver the ABA English customer proposition by creating user experiences that are aligned with the vision allowing our customers to study and improve their English knowledge skills.
  • Be able to lead user experience design with a data informed “test and learn” approach.
  • Define and implement UX guidelines, using this knowledge to tailor solutions. You are experienced enough in digital and Ecommerce to be able to make practical, insightful suggestions in line with the product owner’s objectives and requirements.
  • Consider the bigger picture on each project to ensure the best solution is achieved.
  • Define, develop and create the information architecture and content framework of ABA English digital journeys, creating an engaging, easy-to-use and best of class customer experience.
  • Ensure that stakeholder requirements are fully reflected in data architecture outcomes.
  • Use a range of inputs, including interaction, brand principles, analytics, customer feedback, usability testing, technology and business requirements to develop informed & logical solutions.
  • Understand technical considerations with the assistance of the developers & and stakeholders.
  • Your influence will be partly tactical at a project level and partly strategic, influencing customer experience strategy within the department and across the business as a whole.
  • Instil the documentation of all UX materials to a level of detail that will enable them to be shared with team colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Command of a broad range of IA tools and techniques (Omnigraffle, UXPin, Visio, etc) with portfolio evidence of these deliverables.
  • Good degree or equivalent in IA or related discipline.
  • English level high.
  • Experience in user centered design and a solid grasp of usability best practices
  • Stakeholder Management.
  • Clear understanding of Lean approach and Agile methodology.
  • Experience with multilingual products.
  • Experience in interpreting
  • insights from qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Demonstrate high level of creativity and problem solving skills.
  • A thorough technical understanding of inclusive design frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication, teamwork, and user advocacy skills, inspiring confidence in those around you.
  • You foster a collaborative approach with a strong sense of responsibility
  • You are committed, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • You need to be proactive and able to act with independence and integrity.
  • Strong attention to detail & able to deliver consistent UX between properties
  • Maintaining expertise on digital media/ social & sharing knowledge within the company
  • Ability to manage own workload and time effectively to meet deadlines
  • A positive attitude to working with diverse personalities and complex dynamics
  • Flexibility and ability to cope with changing circumstances
  • Ability to work across digital channels (web and app)
  • Knowledge of best practices, and emerging digital technologies
  • Support in the delivery of customer and business KPIs.
  • Present – clearly & concisely communicate your solutions internally & externally, using a range of methods as appropriate for the audience.
  • The role involves working closely with developers and Academy Team
