As UX Designer you will be responsible for the full UX process for one of our products. You will be embedded in a product team and will work closely with all members of the team from system architects and back-end engineers to front-end devs, POs and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • You will conduct research projects with our users on behalf of our product teams for each proposed feature or design opportunity. You will develop personas and user stories to enable us to better design solutions for our product and will study usage data and user session videos to identify and usage patterns and design opportunities.
  • Once research has been conducted, you will share the results with the product team and relevant business stakeholders and together with the PO and product team you will design a solution.
  • You will then create low fidelity mockups and wireframes using tools like Axure and within our test environment validate the proposed solution with users, internally and externally. You will iterate and update these designs based on feedback.
  • Once the low fidelity mockups are validated you will create final designs and prototypes using Photoshop and InVision.
  • Finally once all the designs are complete and have working prototypes in InVision you will create a short video to accompany the final designs, to create unambiguous instructions for the PO to add to their final documentation.

The above outlines our current flow, but our UX structure and process is fluid and ever evolving based on our ongoing experience and the latest industry techniques. We are always open to new techniques and ideas to make our UX process better.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years UX / UI design experience.
  • A solid portfolio with an emphasis on UX and UI design across multiple platforms (desktop, tablet, mobile).
  • Excellent photoshop skills.
