Main Purpose of Job

The EDWP UX Senior Specialist is part of the team that rolls out globally the Employee Digital Workplace at Nestle.

Liaises with business stakeholders to capture requirements, translate them into interaction flows and beautiful, intuitive and functional user-focused interfaces.

Collaborate with EDWP Product Specialists to define and implement innovative solutions, proofs of concept and experiences that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex designs.

The UX Specialist aligns with the EDWP Product Specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management

As contributor within larger projects or driver of own projects, deliver expected results on time, budget, scope and quality.

  • Business Analysis / User Research

Work with stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements, helping them to reach their goals (such as finding information) easily and intuitively.

  • Design

Design the product around functionality and usability. Convert the user journeys into information architecture, wireframing and prototyting (html & css). Produce attractive visual designs.

  • Testing

Realignment with user goals - help to eliminate problems or user difficulties that were unforeseen during the design phase. Propose innovative solutions to reach the end user goal.

  • Implementation

Work intimately with developers to obtain a realistic expectation of what they will produce. Ensure that developers are kept in the loop in the early stages of the project to ensure the delivery to requirements.

  • Advocacy
  • Build awareness of existing EDWP solutions and strategy
  • Support adoption of EDWP solutions in partnership with business functions by acting as a facilitator around technologies EDWP is promoting
  • Support

Provide consulting to 3rd level support for incident resolution and problem solving when detailed expertise in the handled technology is required by the support team.

Experience

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Computer science, Design Communication or similar

Experience

  • 4+ years in UX/UI Designer position
  • Proven UX/UI/Visual Design experience
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tolos
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
  • Artistic eye for design
  • Ability to think creatively and be able to rationalize decisions
  • Experience in an FMCG / international company is an asset.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Proven quantitative and analysis skills
  • Proven ability to produce innovative solutions to challenging business problems
  • English, other languages are a plus
