GLOBE (Global Business Excellence) was created in July 2000 and was the most ambitious business process reengineering program we had ever initiated. Through GLOBE, we improved the performance and operational efficiency of our businesses worldwide by revisiting all aspects of our business practices and shaping new ways to run Nestlé.

15 years on, we are now embarking on a new phase of process renovation were we will improve our Business processes to be best in class enabling us to leverage the size and capabilities of Nestlé for competitive advantage to win in the marketplace.

To complete our Architecture, Strategy & Innovation (ASI) department, we are currently looking for an Innovation & Design Thinking Champion.

In this role, your will support the user-centric approach within GLOBE to ensure that Nestlé delivers fit-for-purpose solutions that maximize return of investment by assisting teams in the facilitation of workshops and initiatives. It's about supporting the acceleration of transversal collaboration through structured dialogue, about helping to understand user needs and finding that sweet spot between desirability, viability and feasibility. In addition, you will also maintain and extend Innovation and Design Thinking methodologies, material etc.

Key responsibilities

  • Structure and guide (with DT experts, Senior Expert or Lead) Innovation & Design Thinking (DT) initiatives
  • Prepare and lead Innovation & DT awareness trainings and activities e.g. workshop, initiatives, events and develop methodology (training material)
  • Record and refelct past Innovation & DT initiatives
  • Co-create and coordinate the Design Thinking certification program
  • Co-Create / Conceptualize new innovation concepts or methods that break new ground
  • Concretize Business to Employee innovation concepts and approaches
  • Inspire in the conception of Innovation and Design Thinking journeys by connecting dots and structuring ideas, challenges and questions
  • Drive the like-minded mindset and culture through the organization
  • Help to inspire a cross-organizational network

Required Profile

  • Degree in Innovation and/or Design Thinking/User-centric Design
  • Proven experience in planning, structuring, documentation and reporting
  • At least 3 years of experience in conceptual thinking and design doing
  • Strong interest on innovation methodologies
  • Experience in research plan/protocol design and in scoping and reframing
  • Experience drawing/visual facilitation and video editing skills would be a plus
  • Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following disciplines: BMC and VPC; MS Office 365 tools; UX design
  • Full working proficiency in English, any other language would be a plus
