Main tasks and duties

  • Translate high-level business objectives, user needs and requirements into innovative solutions.
  • Effectively communicate UX design ideas and research findings to managers, collaborators, and other stakeholders
  • Planning, preparation and execution of user research, formative and summative usability evaluations. preparation, data consolidation, test reporting for conceptual level prototyping
  • Design and produce design elements for our applications using state of the art design
  • Participate in earlier phases of product development,
  • Collaborate with the different project teams coaching them and ensuring the alignment from UX perspective of the different department developed solutions
  • Workflow design and user interface beyond product lines
  • Wireframing & Prototyping to make ideas tangible
  • Usability for responsive design and other approaches to designing for multiple devices and screen sizes to ensure clear Information and navigation structure in applications
  • Adherence to and promotion of relevant standards (e.g. IEC 62366) and Roche design guidelines and documentation of all regulatory relevant topics.
  • Organization and supervision of collaboration with internal departments as well as external agencies.
  • Education and coaching of other professionals in the area.
  • Management of multiple stakeholders, promotion and strategic development of the UX discipline within the department and the division.
  • High degree of self-organization, active information collector and connector
  • Flexibility to work with geographically distributed teams
  • Experience designing for global brands
  • It’s a plus to have knowledge in digital health or lab environments
  • Familiarity with HTML5/CSS development projects and/or development is a plus

Education: University degree and/or Master degree in design (Graphic, Interaction, Visual, and Digital)

Experience: 2-3 years

Languages: English and Spanish

Specific Requirements:

  • Proficiency in visual design and wireframing tools.
  • Portfolio demonstrating the application of UX tools, techniques and other relevant design artefacts and methods.
  • Working experience in close contact with development teams.
