The service designer is responsible for designing and ensuring innovative serviced solutions. Is aware of methods, case studies and techniques to contribute avant-garde proposals during product ideation while satisfying user and customer needs. Have customers in mind and the factor of service design tangibility/intangibility to create expectation, traction and engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Visualize new product ideas together with business and technical leads.
  • Design services and products from a user and business perspective, with help of the rest of the team.
  • Create Service Blueprints for new or existing products to identify touchpoints and points of improvement.
  • Propose innovative business models for products and services that contribute the company’s revenues.
  • Envision wireframes, processes and user interaction flows of new products or services.
  • Validate new products and services with customers, users and stakeholders in validation workshops.
  • Facilitate co-creation workshops with business stakeholders, customers and end-users.
  • Participate in user research with the rest of the team to understand needs, expectations and contexts.
  • Understand value of design research and qualitative information from an objective point of view.
  • Collaborate with user and customer insight extraction from research with the rest of the team.
  • Develop Customer Journey Maps to identify user needs, tasks, emotions, feelings and decisions.
  • Assess originality, coolness and wow-factor of work in progress across the rest of the team.
  • Ensure and promote service design methods, design processes and design thinking perspective.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Product Design Degree or equivalent
  • Industrial Design or Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • English communication (written and spoken)
  • 1+ year - Design Thinking and Service Design practitioner
  • 1+ year - Human-Centered Designer
  • 2+ years - Experience in product or service design
  • 2+ years - Graphic design and communication skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
  • 2+ years – Internet
