My client is a leading online travel brand with an excellent presence throughout Europe allowing their customers to book hotels, flights, and holiday packages. As they continue to grow and acquire further brands they require a talented UX Designer to join their established and innovative team based in the beautiful city of Barcelona.

They are looking for someone who dreams of seeing measurable results of their work come to life and thrive working in a collaborative manner. You need to love getting down to the last detail of the most complex interactions and enjoy iterating small details to achieve the best possible experience. If you love your designs to be based on data, research, as well as the best practices and theory, then this may just be the job you are looking for.

Desired Skills & Experience

As the successful UX Designer you would be responsible for;

  • Designing innovative interaction solutions based on both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Produce user journeys, flows, experience maps and functional interactive prototypes to define the experience of their customers in their websites
  • Sketch concepts and validate them with stakeholders from across the business
  • Preparing functional interactive prototypes which include all business rules, requirements, notes or any other specification that aids the development teams
  • Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders to drive out solutions
  • Collaboratively integrate the visual design into the prototypes
  • Adhering to the UX Methodology used by my client, proposing improvements, innovation and efficiency improvements to keep up to date with new developments

In order to be considered for this excellent opportunity you should demonstrate the following skills;

  • Previous exposure to working in an interaction design, research and/or UX consulting role
  • Ability to bring an idea to life using a whiteboard, pencil or mouse/touchpad
  • A solid knowledge of UX methods and principals
  • Strong skills in deciphering business and users needs, and translating it to products and services optimised for conversion
  • User research and analysis techniques
  • eCommerce experience is a plus but not essential
