The Head of User Experience will be the champion of user centric design for our digital marketing organization.


  • Hire and manage a team of user interface designers to service our website and products groups.
  • Build and integrate a user design process into our existing product development and marketing campaign cycles.
  • Monitor user design standards and ensure we are following accepted best practices for user centric design.
  • Monitor competitors, customer feedback, site metrics and user flows to adapt those standards to our industry and drive continual improvement.
  • Work with business and marketing stakeholders to understand their plans and requirements for the products and website, and make sure UX is integrated into those plans.
  • Work with product and development teams to build designs that meet those requirements – could include requirement documents, work flows, user journeys, wireframes etc.
  • Develop, communicate and enforce user experience guidelines for each of our client brands.


  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio and Dreamweaver.
  • Experience working with large, multi-product ecommerce clients.
  • Design to work in a collaborative team and directly with developers for implementation of designs.
  • A portfolio showcasing pioneering user-centered design including mobile/tablet work.
  • Fluency in best practice for digital information architecture and design and strong knowledge of usability principles.
  • Understanding of business metrics with a view to substantially improving ROI.
  • Ability to work well in high pressure and high responsibility environment.
